The current distraction is the Confederate flag, which isn’t actually the Confederate flag. Apparently the crazy shooter in South Carolina didn’t fit the profile so we can’t talk about him.
Since your hosts are either Damnyankees or Texans there is only one flag that matters anyway.
I do find it interesting that although companies like Amazon have announced that they’ll stop selling items that have a “confederate flag” on them they’ll happily sell you Nazi or Communist paraphernalia.
