Easiest pork ever

You’ll need:
One pork loin roast that will fit in your slow cooker – not a pork tenderloin.

This is a pork loin:

pork loin

This is not:

Pork-Tenderloin

One 16 oz. jar of your favorite salsa

Plop the meat in the slow cooker, dump the entire jar of salsa over the meat. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Shred the meat with two forks, mix with the liquid remaining in the slow cooker.

You can serve this over rice, as a filling for tacos, on a sandwich, inside an omelette, whatever! And if you don’t own a slow cooker, get one for heaven’s sake.

Don’t stop at one slow cooker. You need at least three.

Yes! And don’t forget a mini one for overnight oatmeal!

I’m almost embarrassed to say I have 5 in varying sizes

We’ve got a normal sized one and a giant one. They are the best.

This also works really well with chicken, although you do have to pick out the bones afterwards (Unless you’re using boneless chicken breasts, but why would you do that to yourself?). I do like to add a packet of additional seasoning, all the meat really dulls down the spiciness of the salsa.
